Install Extension for System Platform

Steps to install AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for System Platform

If you are installing AVEVA Work Tasks in the Enterprise Server mode, install the AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for System Platform on all the servers.

1. Stop all the AVEVA Work Tasks services.

2. Run the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform.exe installer.

   The installer splash screen, and then the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 Extension for System Platform screen appears.

3. Click Next.

   The License Agreement screen appears.

4. Read the terms, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement option, and then click Next.

   The Customer Information screen appears.

5. Enter the User Name and Organization name.

6. Under Install this application for, select one of the following:

   • Anyone who uses this computer (all users): If the application can be accessed by all the users using this computer.

   • Only for me (localadm): If the application can be accessed by only the local administrator of the computer.

7. Click Next.

   The Click Install to begin the installation screen appears.

8. Click Install to begin the installation.

   After the installation is complete, the InstallShield Wizard Completed screen appears.

9. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Files Installed by AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for System Platform:

The AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for System Platform installation copies the following files:

• DLL files to the Bin folder

• Localization files to the Locals folder

• BPMUITempates files under the Web folder

• Workflow elements files under the WorkflowElements folder

The AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for System Platform does the following:

• Creates an entry in the SKAddInProviders table with the name field 'ArchestrA'.

• Creates a new record in the table SKReleaseVersionStamp which stores the current product release version and product name. If the table is not present, the installer will create a new table. This table will be stored in Farm Database.

• The following installed files are copied from the Bin directory to all the Enterprise Console site Bin folders:

  • ArchestrA.Workflow.EventHandler.dll

  • Skelta.WinForms.Security.dll

  • ArchestrA.Workflow.Activity.Runtime.dll

  • Skelta.Connector.CommonLibrary.dll

  • Skelta.Connector.Proxy.dll

  • Skelta.ArchestrA.Connector.Client.Proxy.dll

  • ArchestrA.Workflow.Codebehind.InTouch.dll

  • ArchestrA.Workflow.Codebehind.IDE.dll

  • Skelta.ArchestrA.Connector.Client.dll
