Resolve Physical Path of File Watcher

You can edit the physical path of the File Watcher in the target environment.

• If a File Watcher with the same name already exists in the target environment but with a different path, the File Watcher will not be installed and the following warning message appears:

  File Watcher already exists with a different physical path and cannot be updated.

  You can resolve the warning message by changing the path of the File Watcher in the package to the same path as in the target environment.

• If a File Watcher with a different name but same physical path as the one in the package is already present in the package, then the File Watcher will not be installed and the following warning message appears:

  A file watcher with the same physical path is already configured: <physical path>.

  You can resolve the warning message by changing the physical path in the package. Ensure that the new path is not configured for another File Watcher.

The Physical Path grid contains the following settings, which are required to resolve the physical path of the File Watcher.

• Source: Displays the physical path value of the File Watcher in the source environment.

• Target: Enter the physical path value of the File Watcher in the target environment. If you do not specify any value, then the value specified in the source is considered.
