Delete Folder

Use the Delete option to delete an existing folder from the folder list.

Note: Ensure that the folder is not associated with any workflow. You will not be able to delete the folder if it is associated with a workflow.

To delete an existing folder

  1. In the Enterprise Console, click the Menu button, click Settings, and then click File Watcher. The FileWatcher List page appears.

  2. Select the folder to be deleted.

  3. On the action bar, click Delete. For example, select 'HR' with the path C:\FILEWATCHER\ to be deleted.
    Alternatively, select and right-click a folder, and then select Delete.

  4. A message to confirm the folder deletion appears.

  5. Click Yes to delete. The confirmation message about successful deletion of the folder appears.

  6. Click Close.

Though the ‘HR’ folder will be present on the C drive, the File Watcher will not watch it for any events.
