View Package History

You can view the history of a package using the History option. An entry is logged in package history when a package is imported, installed, and uninstalled. The Package History page automatically appears when the package installation or uninstall is in progress. The records are displayed in reverse chronological order.
To view the history of a package

Log on to the Enterprise Console.

On the Enterprise Console menu, point to Package, and then click Manage Package.
The Manage Package page appears.

Select the package and click History.
The Package History dialog box appears where you can view, export, and filter the data.
Alternatively, you can right-click the selected package, and then select History on the shortcut menu.

Filtering Data: You can filter the data in the Package History dialog box by enabling the Filter Bar.
To enable the filter bar, right-click the column label, and then select Filter Bar on the shortcut menu. A new row with the filters is added under the column header using which you can filter the data. Data filter functionality in the Package History dialog box is similar to Filtering Data in Work Item List.

Sort Data: You can sort data in the Package History dialog box using the Sort option available on the shortcut menu of column headers. The columns having numerical value or value in the form of date and time are sorted in the ascending order on selection of A-Z. On selection of Z-A, the values are sorted in descending order.

Export: You can export the data in the Package History dialog box to a html, excel, pdf, xml, tiff, and text format using the Export feature.

View more records: The grid in the Package History dialog box displays only 50 records. To view next 50 records, click the View more records icon available in the lower-right corner of the window.

Error Counts: The Package History dialog box shows the count for Errors, Warnings, Information, and All. Click an error count to see the related messages.
