Configure WWSKBPMPackageManager Using XML

You can import, install, or uninstall packages using the WWSKBPMPackageManagerConfig.xml file.

  1. Browse to the "Bin" folder, which is available in the path where the product is installed.

  2. Open the WWSKBPMPackageManagerConfig.xml file.

  3. In the XML file, pass the values for the mandatory parameters listed in the following table.

    Import Package Settings

    Repository Name

     

    Enter the name of the repository to which the package must be imported.

     

    Import Package Settings > Package

    Name

     

    Enter the name of the package that must be imported into the repository.

     

    Description

     

    Enter the description for the package.

    Parent

     

    Enter the name of the parent folder for the package to be imported.

     

    Physical Path

     

    Enter the physical path where the package must be imported.

     

    Install Package Settings

    Repository Name

     

    Enter the name of the repository to which the package must be imported.

     

    LoggedInUserID

    Enter the ID of the logged in user.

    Install Package Settings > Package

    Name

     

    Enter the name of the package that must be installed.

     

    Version

     

    Enter the version of the package that must be installed.

     

    Uninstall Package Settings

    Repository Name

     

    Enter the name of the repository from which the package must be uninstalled.

     

    LoggedInUserID

    Enter the ID of the logged in user.

    Uninstall Package Settings > Package

    Name

     

    Enter the name of the package that must be uninstalled from the repository.

     

    Version

     

    Enter the version of the package that must be uninstalled from the repository

     

  4. Save the XML file.

  5. Run the AVEVAWorkTasksPackageManager.exe.
