Cryptography Settings Inside InTouch OMI

You can import the cryptography settings from a server where AVEVA Work Tasks is installed to this server.

To Import Cryptography Settings

1. Open InTouch OMI application, and then click Launch.

   The AVEVA Work Tasks Cryptography Settings screen appears.

   Note: The Cryptography Settings screen is available if there are AVEVA Work Tasks controls in InTouch OMI and you are importing the Cryptography settings for the first time. Later to update the settings, you need to place the .settings file in the InTouch OMI user’s ViewApp Instance folder i.e., C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\ViewApps\<viewapp instance>\Controls\AVEVAWorkTasksApp001

2. On the Cryptography Settings page, do the following:

   1. Enter the passphrase for the settings.

      Note: Enter the same passphrase that you configured in AVEVA Work Tasks for Cryptography Settings using Farm Configuration Wizard.

   2. Click Import to import the cryptography settings file in the server.

3. Click Finish.

   The cryptography settings get imported to the InTouch OMI server.
