While installing a package or adding a workflow to package template, if the workflow activity contains File Operations, Create-Open-Office document, and Wait for Email activities, you can edit the details of each file.
If the workflow activity contains File Operations, Create-Open-Office document, and Wait for Email activities, the File Details grid to configure the details of each file appears towards the lower section of the settings form. Use the Edit File Location button against each activity name.
The File Details grid contains the following fields:
-
Activity Name: Displays the name of the activity that contains any of the File Operations, Create-Open-Office document, or Wait for Email activities.
-
Property Name: Displays the property name. For example, Source Details, Destination Details, Attachment Save Location.
-
Location: Displays the configured location of the file. Use the Edit File Location button to configure the target location of a file.
Click Edit File Location for the file that you want to change. The File Details page appears replacing the package Settings form.
The File Details page contains the following fields:
-
The Source fields display the values in the source environment. You can use the same values or credentials for the target, or change the values as required.
-
If you select File mode as the Protocol type in the source environment, then in the target environment you do not need to enter the user credentials. In the target environment, if file details require FTP-HTTP mode as the Protocol type, then you can change the Protocol type to FTP-HTTP mode and enter the Location, Pattern, User name, Password, Domain name, and Port number.
-
The Port number is independent of authentication type. If the target Port number is not specified, package considers the source Port number.
-
Click Save Settings to save the configuration. The File Details page closes, and the package Settings form appears.
Note: Package does not validate the file details specified in the target fields. Ensure to provide valid inputs.
