Azure Setting

Azure Setting is required for the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App to access the AVEVA Work Tasks server through Internet. The mobile application communicates with the AVEVA Work Tasks server through Windows Azure Service Bus. This platform provides the channel through which the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App can communicate with the On-Premise AVEVA Work Tasks Service.

To access the AVEVA Work Tasks features in a mobile device, you must configure the Service Bus Listener. A Service Bus Listener enables a secure communication mechanism between AVEVA Work Tasks Pro App and the Enterprise Console. After you configure a service bus listener, a Service Bus Listener URL is generated. Mobile users can access the application in mobile devices using the Service Bus Listener URL.

Note: The Service Bus Listener URL must be unique for every Farm. If you are using the same URL for multiple Farms, ensure that the combination of the Listener Namespace and Service Bus Namespace is unique.

Before configuring Azure setting, ensure that you complete the following:

1. Create Enterprise Console with Anonymous Authentication

2. Configure Service Bus Listener
