Guidelines for Antivirus

Configure your antivirus software to prevent the files and directories listed below from being scanned. You can stop Windows Security from alerting you or blocking the program by adding the file to the exclusions list.

Note:
- Only do this for files or folders listed below. The paths listed here may be different based on your installation.
- Adding an exclusion for an unsafe program could expose your systems and data to increased risk.

ArchestrA and SMC Logger Storage folder exclusions:

• C:\ProgramData\ArchestrA\ and all subfolders

• C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArchestrA\

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArchestrA\

• C:\ProgramData\AVEVA Work Tasks\ and all subfolders

AVEVA Work Tasks, AVEVA License Manager and PCS folders exclusion:

• C:\Program Files\AVEVA\

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\

Windows Temp folder exclusion:

Exclude the following folders

• C:\Windows\Temp\WorkTasksTemp

.Net Temp Folder (Could vary with .Net Version):

• C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\centralconfig

• C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\enterpriseconsole

• Custom Enterprise Console folders, if any

SQL Server Database exclusion:

Exclude the files in the SQL Server database location:

• C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\ (will vary by SQL Server version)

Exclude SQL Server database files within this directory with below listed types:

• .mdf

• .ldf

• .ndf

Ports (Could vary based on configuration customization)

The following table lists the default ports used by various services while running AVEVA Work Tasks, exclude the ports as applicable:

Following ports used by AVEVA Work Tasks services, when the AVEVA Work Tasks Pro application is used outside Corporate Network, exclude the ports as applicable.
