Alternate Actor

The option Alternate Actor, allows you to replace an actor who is set as an alternate actor with an alternate user.

Functionality

  • If the User to be Replaced is not set as an alternate actor, then a message User not part of this artifact is displayed.

  • If both the User to be Replaced and the Alternate User are set as an alternate actor, then the entry for the User to be Replaced will be removed and the entry for the Alternate User will be retained.

  • If the Alternate User is set as the alternate actor for the User to be Replaced, then the rule of alternate actor will be removed for the User to be Replaced. For more details read the scenario below:

  • Scenario:

    • User to be Replaced is Lee

    • Alternate actor set for Lee is Kevin

    • Alternate User is Kevin

  • In this scenario since the Kevin who is the Alternate User is already set as the alternate actor for Lee, the rule of Alternate Actor for Lee will be removed and Lee will not have any alternate actor set.
