Install Load Balanced Server

The Load Balanced Server supports the following scenarios:

• Web Farm with Clustered Services on Web Farm Machines with Database on a Different Machine

• Web Farm Connecting to Separate Services Cluster with Database on a Different Machine

• Single Server Capable of Adding Machines at Any Time

• Intranet and Extranet Web Servers on Different Machines

• Client and Server Installation

Complete the installation tasks for the scenario that matches your configuration.

Notes:
- For Enterprise Server deployment, it is mandatory to synchronize the date and time in all enterprise servers.

- For optimal performance, we recommend to run all the enterprise servers in the same version of the operating system. For example, ensure to run all the enterprise servers in 64-bit version of operating system.

- The Multicast tool ensures that all machines used for the Enterprise Server installation are able to communicate with each other. For more information about the multicast tool, see Tools Used in Enterprise Server.
