Change Pool Size of Farm Connection Settings

To change Pool Size of the Farm

  1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to AVEVA, and then click Farm Configuration Wizard.

    The AVEVA Work Tasks Farm Configuration Wizard appears.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Select Database Settings.

  4. Click Next.

    The Connect to existing database screen appears.

  5. Select the Connection String option.

  6. Enter the pool size in the Advanced Settings field.

    For example, type Connection Timeout = 30.

  7. Click Test Connection.

  8. Click OK.

    This will change the pool size of the Farm Database.

  9. Click Next.

    The message, Connection settings edited successfully appears.

  10. Stop the following AVEVA Work Tasks services:

    1. Client Service

    2. Communication Service

    3. Task Schedule

    4. Mobile Notification Service

    5. Workflow Engine

  11. In an Enterprise Server system, ensure to stop the Advance Server Service.

  12. In a client computer, ensure to stop the Client service.

  13. In a client machine which is connected to an Enterprise Server, ensure to stop the Advance Server Service and Client Service.

  14. Close all AVEVA Work Tasks related sites and applications.

  15. To stop IIS, run Command Prompt as an Administrator, and type iisreset /stop.

  16. Delete the WorkflowManagementTemp folder from C:\Windows\Temp.

  17. Delete the AVEVA Work Tasks Cache files and folders from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.XXXXX\Temporary ASP.NET Files\.

  18. Start the AVEVA Work Tasks related services.

  19. To start IIS, run Command Prompt as an Administrator, and type iisreset /start.

  20. Click OK.
