The OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) is a set of specifications that are not based on Microsoft COM. You can use the AVEVA Work Tasks Extension for OPC UA to read or write tag values from the OPC UA server.
Capabilities:

Connect AVEVA Work Tasks to one or more existing OPC UA servers on the network.

Read or write tag values from the OPC UA server which is connected to the workflow server.
The following are the prerequisites to access the application server:

To access AVEVA Work Tasks server, Windows Authentication User information is required.

The user must be a part of Roles Administrators, SkeltaAdmins, or the SkeltaRemoteUsers.

The user should have administrative rights to the workflow repository.
