Use the Security option to configure the security feature.

To configure security for an assembly

  1. In the Enterprise Console, click menu icon, click Tools, and then click SOA Assembly. The Assembly List page appears.

  2. Select an assembly in which you would like to define security at the List and ListItem level.

  3. Click Security. The security settings page appears. You can define the security rights at Global, Repository, Across List, and List Specific levels.
Alternatively, right-click the registered assembly, and then click Security Settings from the context menu.

Example: Assume that the 'Human Resources' folder consists of three classes called 'Company', 'Employee', and 'Leave'. There are three users called 'Allen', 'Kim', and 'Jim'. Allen has Admin rights and has defined the security rights at the ListItem level. Allen gives Kim the rights to view only the Employee class and Jim can view only the Company class.

This means that only the Admin user is able to view all the classes of the Human Resources folder. If Kim logs in, Kim can view only the Employee class and if Jim logs in, Jim can view only the Company class.
