Edit Mode

In addition to the Minimize/Restore and Delete options, the Edit mode allows the user to edit the properties of web part. In this mode the user can open the Editor Zone pane and select the required properties and customize the web parts according to their preferences. Even in this mode, the user can move the web parts across different zones and even add new web parts to any of the zones.

To view the Edit Mode

  1. Go to Enterprise Console > Settings > Web Part Settings > Page 1.

  2. Expand the Webparts Settings bar.

  3. In the Web Part Display Mode drop-down list, select Edit mode.

    Now you can even see the Edit Web Part drop-down field with all the options – Minimize, Delete, and Edit.

  4. Click the Edit option in the drop-down list, the Editor zone pane opens. Here, the user can select any of the properties to change the nature of the web part.
