Selecting the type of installation

Following points must be considered while installing AVEVA Work Tasks on the Load Balanced Server:

• Ensure that you select the Complete Installation and Enable load balancing options.

• You can either create a new Farm database or use an existing one.

1. In the Select the type of installation page, select Complete Installation (Server).

   A Complete Standalone Deployment does not require a client installation.

2. Select the Enable load balancing (This feature requires and Enterprise license.) check box for installing AVEVA Work Tasks on the Enterprise Server.

   The Farm Configuration Wizard dialog box appears.

3. Click OK.

4. To create a new Farm database, click Create AVEVA Work Tasks Farm, and then select one of the following:

   • Create AVEVA Work Tasks Farm database

   • Use existing AVEVA Work Tasks Farm database (Creates AVEVA Work Tasks Farm tables only if they do not exist)

5. To connect to an existing Farm database, click Connect to existing AVEVA Work Tasks Farm (if the first server of the Enterprise Server is already installed).

6. Click Next.

   The Database User Settings page appears.
