Embed AVEVA Work Tasks

You can package the AVEVA Work Tasks components within a custom installation.

Before continuing with the customization, ensure that you have installed AVEVA Work Tasks on your computer.

Example

A vendor (OEM customer) may need to package a AVEVA Work Tasks product along with their product installer to avoid a separate installation of AVEVA Work Tasks. This will ease the installation experience in the client environment since AVEVA Work Tasks will get installed along with the vendor's product.

Note: For Custom build application on AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2, or when you upgrade the product to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2, it is recommended not to use Enterprise Console appSettings in web.config file.
For a custom build application, you need to bind the application to the AVEVA Work Tasks Integrated pool.
