Define Data Columns

The data columns must be defined in the following sections of the configuration file to load your own dataset:

• //Columns

• //section for cell datatypes and input field

Some column headers are listed by default, just like in the following screenshot. You can replace them with the ones in your own dataset.

Note: Hiding column headers can only be done in the JavaScript configuration file and not through the lookup configuration.

Grid widget supports localization. You have the option to localize the column headers or Grid titles. In the screenshot, the title field is used to define the localization's key-value pair. For information on localization, see Localize Widgets.
