The Microsoft Office Outlook Follow Up functionality helps the user to mark a mail as follow up. It is used to set reminders to perform tasks at the required time.
Details of the Workflow.NET.Outlook Follow Up are as follows:
-
Set this follow up while selecting the channel through the Channel Selection page.
-
Specify the time for the reminder.
-
When the user gets any mail marked for follow up, it will be flagged under task list in Microsoft Office Outlook. Until the time set for follow up is met, the mail will be in the due task list itself.
-
There is a limitation to set up reminder time.
-
Reminder should always be given in minutes. Even if the user gives the reminder in seconds, it will be converted to minutes. For Example: If the user sets 0.00:00:20 as reminder time and the mail receiving time is 10.00.00, then the reminder time will be 10.01.00
-
The reminder time specified by the user will be added to the mail receiving time to calculate the actual reminder time.
-
The reminder time can also be snoozed to the user's convenience.
