Verify Installation

The verification of the Connector for System Platform installation has been broadly divided into the following three steps.

Verify basic AVEVA Work Tasks Connector for System Platform installation

A folder "Workflow" gets created in the ArchestrA installed root folder. The user should be able to perform the following tasks successfully:

1. Import the WorkflowGateway (WorkflowGateway_20.1.aaPKG) from the <ArchestrA installed root >\workflow\AppObjects folder.

2. Create an instance of WorkflowGateway.

3. Open the WorkflowGateway and provide the AVEVA Work Tasks server information and authentication credentials.

Verify configuration of WorkflowGateway AppObject

4. Ensure that the Windows authentication credentials provided for AVEVA Work Tasks Server Connectivity (Outbound Connection) are valid.

   Click on the Test Connection button in WorkflowGateway to populate the workflow repositories configured in the AVEVA Work Tasks server.

5. Ensure that Workflow Repository authentication information is valid.

   Click on the Authorize and Provision button for provisioning the repository.

6. Ensure that WorkflowGateway AppObject has been provisioned successfully.

   Select a WorkflowGateway instance from the Workflow tool box drop-down list on the left upper corner of IDE to list different menu options in the drop-down list, based on the logged-in user rights.

Verify runtime functionality of WorkflowGateway AppObject

• Verify if WorkflowGateway is deployed successfully on the RunTime node.

The WorkflowGateway attribute GatewayObjectDeployErrMsg should have the value NoError and the attributes InvalidInboundConnAuthInfo and InvalidInboundConnPortInfo should have the value as false after deployment.
