About partially closed objects

  • Last UpdatedSep 25, 2024
  • 1 minute read

When a lower-level object is closed, for example, if you closed a measuring station, each of the connected items above (line segment - subregion - region - company) will be marked partially closed. The designation of partial closure will allow you to review the data associated with each object and ensure that it is ready to be closed. Any partially closed data should be fully closed by the beginning of the next month.

Objects can be closed at any level in the balance hierarchy, and the lower level objects that are open or partially closed will be closed (assuming the other rules are met), and any higher level object will be marked partially closed (if they are not already partially closed). The partially closed items should be reviewed, and closed before the next close period.
