Estimation methods

The various methods identified in this section are used by AVEVA Measurement Advisor to estimate measurement data. These methods can be enabled or disabled for each meter run or gas quality (GQ) point.

By default, estimates are generated using the Primary History Granularity (PHG). For example, if a meter / GQ point is stored at daily intervals, then daily estimates are generated. If a meter / GQ point is stored at hourly intervals, then hourly estimates are generated. If an estimation granularity is defined in the Properties for Meter window, however, the estimate will be generated based on the estimation granularity defined there.

You are able to manually enter estimates for missing data if the Administrator chooses to not enable system estimates.
