Prerequisites for the successful setup of the file import email

There are a few things that Administrators of the File Import Tool's email functionality should be aware of.

While the email functionality is a powerful tool, providing the ability to notify interested individuals in the event that a file import task has run into problems or achieved success, there are few basic assumptions that we make about the nature of your system:

• We assume that you can make a successful connection to the corporate mail server from the location that MeasFileImport.exe is running.

• The email profile is used by the file import tool, and this is specified by the CD_EMAIL_PROFILE in the configDesc table.
