Configure gas quality (GQ) averaging

  1. Open the Graphical GQ Summary window.

  2. Open the Properties window for the desired GQ point.

  3. Under the Gas Quality History section on the GQ tab of the Properties for Meter window, select Enable Daily Averages.

    Note: The GQ for which you are doing the average should not have a daily value for the selected period of time.

  4. Select Save.

    You are prompted to set an adjustment reason.

  5. Close the Properties window.

  6. Re-open the GQ Data Editor window.

  7. For the desired GQ, right-click on the day containing the data that you would like to see averaged.

  8. Select Manual Aggregation.

    A window appears and prompts you to define the date range where the averaging will occur.

  9. Select the Start Date Time and End Date Time.

  10. If the GQ point indicates a ripple, select the Ripple checkbox.

  11. After entering the required information, select Apply.

    A confirmation message dialog appears.

  12. To average the data, select OK.

  13. Select Close to average the data.

    For the desired GQ, if you switch to daily granularity, the averaged data appears in the GQ Data Editor window.
