Connect meters/gas qualities (GQs)

The meter and gas quality (GQ) are connected to a measurement point.

The connections between measurement points and meter/GQ are date-time effective. The connectivity between the measurement points and the GQ depends on the type of the GQ, measured analysis or zone analysis.

• A measurement point may contain the following:

  • One meter.

  • One GQ (measured analysis).

  • One GQ (zone analysis).

• A meter and GQ (measured analysis) may only belong to one point.

• A gas quality (zone analysis) may belong to one or more points, as this is the analysis downloaded to all the meters in the zone. However, only 999 meters can be connected to any one zone gas quality. This is a limitation imposed by AVEVA Enterprise SCADA. If you are using a different SCADA product, you may not be affected.

The Connected Items for Measurement Point window displays the meter and gas quality objects that are connected to the selected measurement point.
