Data migration

This chapter describes how to migrate your configuration, objects, and data from your on-premises database to a cloud database. The migration will be completed by working with your customer representative to come up with a plan and to ensure that the cloud database is sized appropriately to accommodate your data. The migration will include the following stages:

• Updating the AVEVA Measurement Advisor cloud database with your on-premises custom configuration.

• Working with a BACPAC file containing the latest AVEVA Measurement Advisor cloud database schema.

• Determining how to handle any schema/table changes when migrating the objects and data.

• Migrating the objects and data to the cloud database.
