Assign roles

Every CONNECT service, including AVEVA Measurement Advisor, comes with a set of pre-defined, service-specific roles. As an Account Administrator, you can manage these roles to control your users’ access. The image below shows common AVEVA Measurement Advisor roles. You can assign roles to groups and to individual users.

To assign roles

  1. In CONNECT, select User Management.

  2. Select the Roles tab.

    The Roles window displays.

  3. Select Assign Role.

    The Assign role panel opens.

  4. Select AVEVA Measurement Advisor as the Service.

  5. Select the Folder where the AVEVA Measurement Advisor service card is located.

  6. Select a Role.​

  7. Add one or more Groups to the role.

    You can also add individual users to the role.

  8. Select Save.
