Automatically accept prior period adjustments (PPAs)

You can con the meter to automatically accept Primary History Granularity (PHG) Prior Period Adjustment (ppa) records if the ppa records were generated by the spread engine.

Note: Data is only spread to the PHG once you accept a value at the spreading granularity

The spreading PPA automatic acceptance eliminates the need to manually accept PHG PPA of the meter created by the spread engine. However, phg records entered through any other method still require manual acceptance.

The spreading PPA automatic acceptance causes the PHG records generated by the spread engine to be entered into the audit history of the meter.

Note: The automatically accepted PPAs generated by the system do not appear in the approved PPA history. For example, see 15 Minute Approved prior period adjustment (PPA) summary. Only manually approved PPAs are displayed.
