About processing errors in the meter data editor

This section outlines processing errors that you might experience when saving large amounts of data in the meter data editor.

If you are experiencing timeout errors, you can change the time period that must elapse before a timeout error occurs. For more information, refer to Using Command Line Options (Arguments) to Log on to the Measurement Advisor Client. There are two errors that you can encounter. The first occurs if there is an error during the saving of the data. The second is when the data has been saved to the database, but the validation of the data failed.

Processing Error 1: Error while saving adjustments

The error message that you will receive when there is an error when saving the adjustment looks like this:

It is possible to Retry when there are issues saving adjustments. Select Retry to initiate another attempt at saving the adjustments. Alternatively, you could select Cancel and attempt to Save again, or Cancel and Refresh to discard your changes and start over.

Processing Error 2: Error occurring during validation of the saved rows

If a timeout occurs during the validation of the saved rows, the validation will continue to occur in the background.
