Connectivity configurations

You can connect objects using the appropriate Properties window.
For example, using the Properties for Meter window (see Properties), you can connect a measurement point to a meter, and a meter to a remote.

To connect items from the Properties window

Open a Properties window, e.g., the Properties for Meter window.
For more information, refer to Properties.

In the Value column, select the following icon (
) to the right of the Measurement Point or Remote field to open the appropriate Connected Items window.

On the Connected Items window, select Edit to open a section in the window that contains a list of objects that can be connected to the item (see Connectivity configurations to view an example of a Connected Items window).

Select Disconnect, Connect, Okay, or Cancel.

Continue to enter an adjustment reason (refer to Typing or Selecting a Value).
To connect from the Remote Summary

Open the Remote Summary.

Select on the desired row.

Select Properties.

In the Value column, select the following icon (
) to the right of the Measurement Point or Remote field to open the appropriate Connected Items window.

On the Connected Items window, select Edit to open a section in the window that contains a list of objects that can be connected to the item (see Connectivity configurations to view an example of a Connected Items window).

Select Disconnect, Connect, Okay, or Cancel.

Continue to enter an adjustment reason (refer to Typing or Selecting a Value).
