Station volume

The Station Volume module is used to aggregate and balance data that comes from a connected meter, taking into account the configured multiplier. The multiplier indicates whether the change in balance is one of the following:

• Positive. Indicates that there was more product added to the pipeline associated with the meter.

• Negative. Indicates that the meter experienced a reduction in the amount of product in the pipeline associated with the meters.

From these stations, balancing data can be gathered. The meter data is rounded to the number of decimal places defined in the balance station Precision Profile before getting summed up to station-level. The Balance Station Profile has a Profile Control level of Reserved, which means it is defined at installation time. For more information, refer to Precision summary.
