When you provision a tenant
There is a fixed rate — shown as FixedPerInstance/Month in the Credit Agreement — that is charged per AVEVA Measurement Advisor tenant.
Users are billed monthly when using the AVEVA Measurement Advisor Client. The user can log in an unlimited number of times each day and week within the same account and access multiple folders and still are charged only the monthly rate.
There are two tiers used for billing in CONNECT: Viewers and Editors. Viewers are users that have only Meas Util and View roles assigned to them in CONNECT. They accrue fewer charges than those with more advanced permissions such as Editors. Editors are charged a higher rate for usage. For more information on actual rates, see your Credit Agreement.
For more information, refer to Configure roles for a user.
When new meter reading data is entered into the system
When inserting new meter reading data into the system, the rate plans work in the following way:
You will be charged a rate on a resource-usage basis; this is shown as ResourcePeriodicPerInstance/Month in the Credit Agreement. The system will charge per meter for each meter that has received at least one meter reading during the period. For example, if METER1 receives one meter reading every day throughout the month, the charge is incurred for one meter. If METER2 is configured but no data is received, it won't incur a charge. Therefore, at the end of each month, the system will look at which meters received data and submit a request for credit consumption on only those meters. The resource will be charged at the standard meter processing rate unless either closing or calibrations are enabled.
Note: You will not be billed for gas quality data insertion or for editing existing data.
