Note: You must be an Account Administrator to manage a service.

For every active CONNECT service, including AVEVA Measurement Advisor, you can perform one or more of the following tasks, depending on what your service supports:

  • Manage Folders: Folders represent your data assets and their respective software applications (such as AVEVA Measurement Advisor) functioning in a particular geographical region of the cloud as near as possible to your users. This ensures users receive the best performance and user experience.

For more information, see Folder management and its subtopics.

  • Manage Users, Groups, and Roles: A Group is merely a collection of Users. Users and/or Groups then receive their AVEVA Measurement Advisor permissions via the use of roles. Every service comes with a set of pre-defined, service-specific roles. As an Account Administrator, you manage these service-specific roles to control your users’ access. For more information, see Add groups, Add users and assign to groups, and Assign roles. For an overview of managing user access as it pertains to AVEVA Measurement Advisor, see Manage user access in CONNECT .

  • View Audit Log: The View audit log option available from CONNECT enables you to view audit information for AVEVA Measurement Advisor. The option opens the audit log page with the folder and service fields pre-filled. For information about audit logs, see View audit logs.
