The Meter summary windows contain the sections detailed below.

Toolbar |
You can execute Action Items displayed on the toolbar. |

Find |
You can enter the first few characters of a meter Name or Description and search for a meter containing those characters. When you press Enter, the first row containing the string will be highlighted. Find searches row by row, rather than column by column. If the search string you have entered appears in both the Name and the Description fields for a particular row, the row containing the name and the description will only be selected once. For more information, refer to Find a string. |

Filter |
You can filter the meters by the

Date Arrows |
The date arrows appear only on the Graphical Meter Summary window. You can sequentially page through the months of the year using the backward/forward arrows. |

Legends |
The Legend is specific to the Graphical Meter Summary window. The configured data status color scheme is used to indicate the quality or state of the data. The data quality legends are configured through User Options window: System Preferences tab. For more information, refer to Data status colors. |

Current Month |
This appears on the Graphical Meter Summary window. A vertical green bar marks the current selected day. When the Graphical Meter Summary window opens, the most recent days are shown. The starting date for the 31 days is configured through User Options window: System Preferences tab. For more information, refer to System preference default settings. You can change the starting date for the 31 days and view any 31 days. For more information, refer to View the previous/next month. |

Effective Time |
This appears on the Detailed Meter Summary window. The Effective Time is the time when the object property is effective. Many object properties change with time; therefore, it is important to know when the new value (of the property) takes effect and the old value is no longer applicable. |
