Configure manual aggregation

  1. Open the Graphical Meter Summary window.

  2. Open the Properties window for the desired meter.

  3. Under the Meter History section on the Meter tab of the Properties for Meter window, select one of the following based on which granularity you are hoping to see after the aggregation process has been completed:

    • Enable Monthly Aggregations

    • Enable Daily Aggregations

    • Enable Hourly Aggregations

      If you want to create daily data from data entering the system at an hourly granularity, select Enable Daily Aggregations in the Properties for Meter window.

  4. Select Save.

    You are prompted to set an adjustment reason.

  5. Close the Properties window.

  6. Open the Meter Data Editor to the first day with data.

  7. Switch to the granularity that you would like to use for the aggregation.

  8. Check to ensure that there are no rows with data at that granularity.

  9. Close the Meter Data Editor.

  10. Open the Graphical Meter Summary window.

  11. Right-click on the day containing the data that you would like to see aggregated.

  12. Select Manual Aggregation.

    A window appears prompting you to define the date range where the aggregation will occur.

  13. Select the Start Date Time and End Date Time.

    • If you want to scroll back or forward by one month, select on the Calendar dropdown menu and use for back and for forward.

    • If you want to scroll back or forward by one year, select on the Calendar dropdown menu and use for back and for forward.

      For more information, refer to Refresh data dialogs.

  14. Select the granularity. There are three options available for selection:

    • Hourly to Daily

    • Daily to Monthly

    • Minutely to Hourly

  15. Select Apply.

    A confirmation message appears.

  16. Select OK to aggregate the data.

    The data appears in the Meter Data Editor at the granularity defined.
