Turning off unused AVEVA Measurement Advisor features

Turning off unused AVEVA Measurement Advisor features

Turning off unused features is a two-part process. We recommend that you follow the procedures in this order:

  1. Turn off AVEVA Measurement Advisor features

  2. Deleting the feature's associated property values

Note: Strictly speaking, you could delete references to the property values prior to turning the feature off by changing the booleanValue to N in the object registry. However, the error message on completion of Turn off AVEVA Measurement Advisor features provides the table where the property is stored, in addition to the objItemCode(s) with which they are associated, making it easier for you to locate the associated property values.

Unused features —configDesc items— can be turned off in the object registry. Each feature is listed as a configDesc item.

In this example, CD_PREDICTION is the configDesc item used to demonstrate. It has been changed to N.
