Suspend AVEVA Measurement Advisor

If you wish to discontinue using AVEVA Measurement Advisor, you can suspend your service as a prerequisite to its deletion. This will shut down the measurement processes for the service in the affected folder, and you are no longer charged for the service. Suspending the folder will not delete the data right away. For a 30-day period, it can be restored.

Notes: If you have multiple AVEVA Measurement Advisor services running that you wish to discontinue, you must turn off the service in each folder.
If you restore a folder, you must reassign all of the roles to your users.

To suspend AVEVA Measurement Advisor

  1. In CONNECT, select Folder Management.

  2. Select the AVEVA Measurement Advisor folder.

  3. On the folder tile, click the switch to the Off position.

    A message requesting your confirmation is displayed.

  4. Read the confirmation message carefully to learn how the suspension affects your AVEVA Measurement Advisor service.

  5. If you agree, select Suspend.

    The service is suspended.

To reactivate AVEVA Measurement Advisor within the 30 days' suspension period, please contact your AVEVA Customer Service Representative.

Warning: You have only 30 days to change your mind and restore. Otherwise, all of your data will be permanently deleted. If you wait longer than 30 days, you can enable a new service. However, it will be a new instance of the service, as opposed to the one that existed previously.
