The Daily vs. Aggregation Check applies to cases where both hourly and daily data is available with daily aggregation turned off. The daily values can be validated against the aggregation of the hourly values.
Note: Aggregation consists of the summary of the volume, energy, flow time, pulse count, and uncorrected volume.
It also consists of the volume flow weighted averages of the pressure, temperature, differential pressure and flow extension.
The system compares the daily meter readings to the corresponding summary of hourly meter readings. The difference should be lower than a configured tolerance.
For example, a daily volume for a meter differs from the sum of the corresponding hourly volumes by a value greater than the defined tolerance, this data will be flagged.

Where:
-
daily = the daily meter readings.
-
hourly = the hourly meter readings.
-
Tol = Limit tolerance. The calculated difference must be greater that this amount. Otherwise, the two values are considered to be the same.
