The following procedure will help you to determine the unit profile ID. This value will be used when configuring the Z ratio unit profile ID in the configDesc table.

To determine the unit profile ID

  1. If a unit profile with the base conditions for the Z ratio has not been created yet, you can create one using the client.

To do so, do the following:

    1. Navigate to View > System Configuration > Unit Summary.

    2. Select New.

    3. Enter a name for the unit profile.

    4. On the Unit Profile tab, do the following:

      1. Set the configuration to your desired settings.

      2. Set the appropriate base conditions.

    5. Navigate to the Units tab, and configure the desired units for each Unit Category.

    6. Select Save to create the unit profile.

Once a unit profile with the proper base conditions has been created, you will need to get the internal unitProfileId for it in the configDesc table.

  2. To obtain the ID using the AVEVA Measurement Advisor client, do the following:

    1. Navigate to View > System Configuration > Unit Summary

    2. Locate the Unit Profile Name in the summary that contains the appropriate base conditions and note the ID associated with that unit profile.

This value will be used when configuring the Z ratio unit profile ID. For more information, refer to Configure the Z Ratio unit profile ID using the MeasConfig tool.
