Meter beta ratio validation

Warning messages, in the form of tooltip information and warning message boxes, are triggered when the values for the Orifice Meter Beta Ratio are above or below the defined threshold. The threshold is defined in the Meter Beta Ratio Chk section of the Orifice Meter Validation tab in the Properties for Meter window.

If you are entering values that might potentially be invalid on the Properties for Meter window, there are two forms of error messaging that may occur:

• A tooltip displays information about the reason why the data is considered invalid.

• If the row header is double-clicked, a warning message appears. You will be allowed to save the information, even if it is marked as invalid.
