Rate of change (ROC) check

The Rate of Change (ROC) Check determines whether a field has changed from the previous value by a configured amount (tolerance).

This validation includes the following for all meter types:

• Volume

• Energy

• Pressure

• Temperature

• Flow Time

• Run Time

• Mass

• Dewpoint

In addition to the common rate of change validations, each meter type has additional rate of change validations that can be applied, outlined on the <Meter Type> Validation tab for each type of meter. The table below outlines what rate of change validations are applied for each individual meter type.
