Access the CONNECT dialog

By following the procedure below, you can access the AVEVA Measurement Advisor dialog box.

• On the desktop, double-click the shortcut created when AVEVA Measurement Advisor was installed.

  The AVEVA Measurement Advisor dialog box displays.

  

1. Select CONNECT.

   Note: The other connection options, Remote Access and selecting a Database will not work in a cloud environment, as they are intended for an on-premises deployment.

2. Select Sign in.

   

   If you have a federated Active Directory (AD), you will be directed to your company's log in page, otherwise you will have to provide your username and password.

   If you are administering CONNECT, you will want to sign in as a member of CONNECT Administrators.

   During startup, the following window appears:
