Follow this procedure to create a new row into which you can enter initial inventory settings.

Data can only be inserted for a date in the range that is being viewed in the Initial Inventory Setting window.

To insert a new initial inventory setting

  1. If you wish to change the date range being viewed, select the Refresh button.

  2. Define the desired date range.

  3. Select Okay.

  4. On the Initial Inventory window, select Insert and select the desired line segment for which you are setting the initial inventory.

Note: Only those line segments that have inventory tracking enabled appear in the list.

The Select Date dialog appears. This dialog will only allow you to select a date that is in the defined range. If you have a range selected that is between the 28th and the 31st of October, for example, you will only be able to select a date between the 28th and 31st.

  5. Select the desired beginning of the day for which you are setting the initial inventory and select Okay.

    A new, editable row appears.

  6. In the Adj. Beginning Volume column, enter the starting volume of gas in the line segment.

  7. In the Adj. Beginning Energy column, enter the starting energy value of the gas in the line segment.

Caution: If you wish to delete a newly-configured row, you must do it before saving the settings and closing the Initial Inventory Setting window. After you have saved the settings and closed the window, the Delete button will not be available when you reopen the window.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Select Close.
