End of day volume prediction

The system can predict End Of Day (EOD) volume for a meter based on hourly measured and estimated data. The system can then predict measuring station and line segment balances based on this prediction. Predictions are available for meters only.
Note: Prediction is enabled/disabled per meter.
The prediction is:
-
Updated when new hourly data enters the system.
-
Replaced by daily telemetered data.
-
Replaced by aggregations if aggregation is enabled.
-
Updated to an estimate if the daily telemetry data does not arrive by the start of the next gas day. (This creates a problematic context indicating that the daily telemetered data did not arrive).
Notes: The system can also store a your EOD prediction entries.
The prediction does not produce a problematic context unless the prediction was updated to an estimate.
The prediction is the sum of the following:
-
Actual volumes from the top of the gas day to the present (including any estimates).
-
Estimated volumes from the present to the end of the gas day.

Note: The estimation method is the method selected for the meter.
The estimation method is one of the following:
-
Last good value.
-
Average of last N hours of actual values, where N is between 1 and 48.
-
User-entered default value.
-
Lagged Alternate value.
Note: Custom estimation methods may have been added to your system.
