To configure the Pulse Meter tab

  1. Select the Pulse Meter tab.

Note: In order to see the Pulse Meter tab, you must have defined a Metering method of Pulse meter.

    The Pulse Meter tab appears.

  2. Select your Data Source:

    • Pulse EFM

    • Pulse Host Calculated

  3. Choose the Pulse Count Calculation Policy:

    • Calculate Uncorrected Volume from Pulse Count

    • Calculate Pulse Count from Uncorrected Volume

    • No Calculation

  4. Choose the Volumetric Calculation:

    • AGA-7 1996

    • API Liquid

    • API 14.4

Note: API 14.4 is not supported by host-calculated meters.

  5. Define the Frequency low flow cut-off.

This defines the value below which volume correction calculations are invalid.

  6. Define the K factor for your pulse meter.

  7. Define the Meter Factor to define the flow curve correction factor for your pulse meter.

  8. Define your Index roll over to define the maximum index count before the index count rolls over to zero.

  9. In fields K factor1-5, enter the flow curve correction factor.

  10. In fields K freq1-5, enter the flow curve correction factor frequency setpoint.

  11. Enter the Tube Size for pulse meter capacity calculations

  12. Enter the Max. Static Pressure Range.

  13. Enter the Min. Static Pressure Range.

  14. Enter the Max. Temperature Range.
