Configure a pulse host calculated meter

The Pulse count calculation policy defines how the pulse count will be calculated. There are two ways in which the pulse count can be calculated:

• Calculate UV with PC. Selecting this option will calculate the uncorrected volume from the pulse count. See Uncorrected volume calculation from pulse count data input.

• Calculate PC from UV. Selecting this option will calculate the pulse count from the uncorrected volume. See Pulse count calculation based on uncorrected volume input.

  Note: Selecting None ensures that no calculation policy will be applied.

To configure a Pulse Host Calculated meter

1. In the Data Source field on the Properties for Meter: Pulse Meter tab, select Pulse Host Calculated.

2. The Pulse Host Calculated tab appears.

3. Select the appropriate information for each Pulse Host Calculated data source. For more information about each individual property, refer to Pulse host-calculated meter.

4. Select Save.

5. Set the adjustment reason.

6. Select Close.
