Irregular meter overlap check

The Irregular Meter Overlap Check looks for overlaps in an irregular meter data row. The following algorithms are used to detect overlap errors for irregular meter data:

  • Does the start time of the irregular data fall between the start and end time of an existing irregular meter data row?

  • Does the end time of the irregular data fall between the start and end time of an existing irregular meter data row?

If the check fails, an irregular meter reading overlap problem is raised and the processing continues.

For pulse and corrector meters:

  • If the pulse count accumulated value has a gap or an overlap with the previous row containing irregular meter data, this is calculated as follows:

  • If the pulse count accumulated value has a gap or an overlap with the next row containing irregular meter data, this is calculated as follows:

If the check fails, an irregular reading pulse count accumulated overlap or gap problem is raised and the processing continues.
