AVEVA™ Measurement Advisor

Enter monthly data

  • Last UpdatedSep 24, 2024

Monthly data can be entered and viewed through the Third Party Meter User Entry window.

The system calculates the daily values from the monthly value as follows:

Daily Value = Monthly/N

Where:

  • N = the number of days in the month.

Energy or Volume values entered at the monthly granularity will be spread evenly across all daily records in the month. Monthly Heating Value, Temperature, and Pressure values will be copied to each day in the month (they will not be spread). If the monthly Volume = 0 then the monthly Energy and Heating Value will be zeroed out as well. Accordingly, the daily Volume, Energy, and Heating Value will be zeroed out as well. However, the Pressure and Temperature will maintain their values.

To enter monthly data on the Third Party Meter User Entry window

  1. Select a meter from the Meter Name dropdown list box.

  2. Select Refresh to select the Month and Year.

  3. In the Monthly Summary section, enter the total volume for the month, the total energy or total heating value, and the average pressure or temperature.

    1. If Volume and Energy are added, the heating value is calculated.

    2. If Volume and Heating Value are added, the energy value is calculated.

    3. Pressure value is used for reference only.

    4. Temperature value is used for reference only.

  4. Select the Observed checkbox to mark the data as observed edit state.

This means that the data is the original data from the field and should be used during close. If this field is not selected, the data is given an edit state of user estimated. In other words, the real data is not available and the values that appear are temporary data used until the real data arrives.

  5. Select Save to save the data.

  6. Select OK.

  7. Refresh the screen to view the data containing the new information.

Note: Information that has been modified is indicated by a Y in the Modified column.
