Gas Quality (GQ) data is uploaded from the remote telemetry device that measures the gas composition. This data is transferred to the host and used by other flow measurement devices via the Download process.
When Upload GQ Hourly/Daily History is selected on the Poll Remote window, the following is uploaded:
-
All of the carbon components: C1, C2 C3, iC4, nC4, iC5, nC5, neoC5, C6plus,C6, C7, C8, C9, C10. The Cx plus Type property needs to be configured for each GQ based on the components that the chromatograph reports. See Gas quality tab / Analysis component spreading / Spread Cplus enabled.
-
All of the inert components: CO2, N2, H2, S2, O2, CO, Ar, He, H2S,and H2O.
-
Dewpoint, density, viscosity, Base, Sediment, and Water (BSW) are provided, but only if the chromatograph supports them.
-
Heating Value and Specific Gravity are provided, but only if the chromatograph calculates them. If the chromatograph does not report Heating Value and Specific Gravity, the telemetry calculation policy must be set to calculate them.
For downloading, refer to Download of gas quality (GQ) data
The upload can be automatically started, or can be forced by Operator command.
You have the ability to modify a Historical Timestamp Override. These timestamps can be modified via hour, day, or event by re-setting when the date and hour information is read.
