Initial inventory settings

A line segment represents a number of measuring stations that are grouped for the purpose of balancing. For line segments, the system tracks the daily starting inventory.

The Initial Inventory window allows you to enter initial inventory settings for line segments. These changes will be reflected in the Balance Data window, as changing the amount of inventory available causes a re-balance. After changes are made to the inventory, a re-balance occurs.

Note: If no Initial Inventory is entered, the system will not be able to track the day's inventory.
